University of Swabi Holds 5th Meeting of Syndicate

The 5th Meeting of Syndicate, University of Swabi was held on 21st December, 2014 at Committee room, University of Peshawar. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Noor Jehan, Vice Chancellor, University of Swabi and was attended by Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali (SI), Vice Chancelor, AWKUM, Mr. Mohammad Azam Khan, Ex-Chief Secretary, Mr. Muhammad Aziz Khan Ex-IG, Mr. Syed Akhtar Ali Shah, Secretary Home, Honorable Justice Raj Muhammad Khan, Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Alam, Dean of Sciences, Dr. Hidayat Ullah, Assistant Professor, Mr. Syed Shah, Assistant Professor, Mr. Abrar Ullah, Lecturer, Principal, Govt. Girls Degree College Maneri, Mr. Raza Ullah, Finance Department and Mr. Musharraf Marwat, Establishment Department.

Prof. Dr. Noor Jehan, Chairperson, Syndicate welcomed honourable participants and thanked them for their participation on Sunday. The meeting discussed the agenda items and approved recommendations of 1st meeting of Selection Board for appointment of Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Lecturers in various Teaching Departments. The Syndicate also confirmed minutes of the previous meeting of Syndicate and recommended draft statutes for the approval of Senate. The Syndicate approved recommendations of the 2nd meeting of Affiliation Committee for granting affiliation to Paradise College of Education, Swabi, Frontier College of Education, Swabi, and Govt. College of Management Sciences, Swabi. At the end, Vice Chancellor, once again thanked the members for their interest shown in matters of the University.
